Islamist militants attacked the owners of two publishing houses in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in October. Faisal Abedin Deepan and Ahmed Rahim Tutul, the owners of Shudhdhoswar and Jagriti Prokashoni publishing houses, were stabbed by a mob in their offices.
Deepan died of his wounds, and Tutul remains in critical condition. Two writers were also wounded in the attacks. Read more
