Orange County chapter screening “Roger Williams: Freedom’s Forgotten Hero”

The Orange County Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State will be screening the film “Roger Williams: Freedom’s Forgotten Hero”  which examines the story of Roger Williams and the early history of separation of church and state.  As Rob Boston commented “These are unsettled times. Defenders of the principle of the separation of church and state will face many challenges in the months and years to come. Now more than ever, we need the wisdom of Roger Williams.” 

The meeting is on  January 20th  and starts at 1:45 pm with the doors opening at 1:15 pm for socializing and snacks.  We hope you will attend the Orange County Women’s March in the morning and then join us for the film in the afternoon. The meeting is held at the Irvine Ranch Water District Community Room, 15500 Sand Canyon Ave, Irvine 92618.
