Iceland is home to 332,002 people and the world’s newest religion. According to the BBC, thousands of Icelanders have registered as Zuist in recent weeks and they don’t appear to be motivated by the faith’s Sumerian roots.
Islamist militants attacked the owners of two publishing houses in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in October. Faisal Abedin Deepan and Ahmed Rahim Tutul, the owners of Shudhdhoswar and Jagriti Prokashoni publishing houses, were stabbed by a mob in their offices.
Deepan died of his wounds, and Tutul remains in critical condition. Two writers were also wounded in the attacks.
Republican presidential contender Ohio Gov. John Kasich is a favorite among some in the media. Although his poll numbers aren’t impressive, Kasich, many in the press corps would have the country believe, is a thoughtful, moderate alternative to the likes of Donald Trump and Ben Carson.
